Meigs JVs edges Gallipolis 6-5 in 8 innings

Visiting Meigs edged Gallipolis’ JVs, 6-5, in eight innings on Memorial Field Tuesday evening.

The loss dropped Gallipolis to 3-3 on the season.

Gallia Academy left 12 men on base in the setback.

Ty Davis was charged with the loss.

Monday, the GAHS JVs lost a 7-4 decision to visiting Chillicothe as the Cavs scored three runs in the final inning.

GAHS will host Jackson Wednesday in a 5 p.m. game.
