Eastern Eagles Baseball Pike County

Post by knuckler »

It looks as if this team has surprised many teams so far in 2008?
Before the season started they were not suspected to be that competitive, but they are 6-2 in their League and 8-8 overall.
I have seen this team play and they are better than their 8-8 record! They just need to cut down on their errors. Errors have lost them a few games or their record would be much better.

It looks as if this new coach has them headed in the right direction. He has a young, but yet a very good nucleus of players to build on. it will be interesting to see what happens over the next few years?

I agree. They are a well coached ball club, with nice consistency thru their lineup. They played Green last night. Green was no-hit thru 4 2/3rds innings; but got clutch hits late (1 being a 2 run, game tying homerun in the bottom of the 6th). Green won on a walk-off single in the bottom of the 7th.
