Pirates winning but sure are finding it challenging without their historical 2 ACEs. How long has it been since Pirates didn't have two ACEs? I'm sure threee are a couple old SOC coaches wishing they had their shot at pirates this season.

Don't be a baby, that's baseball... Don't make errors and don't lose.

Not being a baby at all. All I said is that it was gift wrapped by 3 errors. Howell made a great swing taking advantage of the opportunity "present"ed to him.

Errors in baseball are mainly a mental sign of not being prepared. 3 within one inning is a sign of struggling under some pressure.

Hopefully Minford gets back on track.

Minford should have hired Chris Davis instead of trying to bring in Burg blood.

What have you seen in the games you have attended make you think that?

It's my opinion based on what I've seen and also knowing Chris. They should have went with Chris when they were able to go outside the district employees to make the hire. Chris has been involved with the program for several years and would have done a good job. Too much stock was put into reaching toward Burg for a coach. Nothing against Hopper, I'm sure he is doing the best he can.
