I would agree that Wheelersburg should get the #1 and Alexander should get the #2 in the D3 East Sectional

Here are the East district records as best as I can figure them from the various Newspapers, the top 4 teams are probably exact but some of the middle teams and bottom teams may be off a game or two.

Wheelersburg 15-1
Alexander 16-3
Oak Hill 12-9
Belpre 11-6
Coal Grove 9-5
Ironton 9-7
Chesapeake 8-4
Crooksville 8-8
Fairland 8-8
Nelsonville 7-7
South Point 4-7 ???
River Valley 3-12
Wellston 3-13
Fed. Hocking 1-13
Rock Hill 0-12 ???

Just by looking at what I know about the OVC and looking on the TVC website this is my prediction on the East Bracket:

1. Wheelersburg
2. Alexander
3. Oak Hill
4. Belpre
5. Chesapeake- Lead OVC at the present moment
6. Coal Grove- Solid pitching, and just gained a starter who had to sit half the season
7. Ironton- Becoming a dangerous team late in the season
8. Fairland- Hit the ball up and down the lineup
9. Crooksville
10. Nelsonville-York- Could jump over both crooksville and Fairland depending on the vote
11. South Point- Has capability of making a run, depends upon their bats and defense
12. Wellston- beat RV twice, could jump SP if TVC sides with them
13. River Valley- Could also jump SP if TVC sides with them
14. Federal Hocking
15. Rock Hill- struggled most of the season but have played close with peake, fairland, etc ...

This sectional is odd because a majority of it is OVC and TVC with Oak Hill, Crooksville and Burg being the odd balls which could effect seeding. Burg is clear cut #1 seed, Oak Hill has a solid record but could potentially fall if conferences gang up, Crooksville seems middle of the pack but could also fall due to no connection with the conferences. Should be interesting! Good Luck to all teams in the Tourney, hope for some great baseball!

Somebody said West Union got kicked out the tournament because they did not go to a rules meeting.
The coach said he did it online. It caused changes in some of the bracket.

The bracket on SEODAB website does not show West Union and it seems to have an off balanced look with 3 byes, where the East side only had 1 bye.

Don't understand how Chesapeake got #3 seed over Oak Hill and Belpre but here is the D3 Bracket

I'd imagine its because Oak Hill is not in OVC or TVC so they were voted against by conference coaches. Chesapeake leads the OVC by I believe 2 games so they were probably boosted by the OVC coaches. I think this is the issue that comes about by not having the meeting to vote and doing it all online, you don't get to hear the arguments of the coaches for or against their schools you just have to justify in a little biography about your season.

I think that is stupid to kick a bunch of kids out of a tournament. Make West Union pay a fine.

1. What a shame for West Union. Instead of punishing the players suspend the coach and let them play.

2. Div. 4 really put the shaft to South Webster. Not Surprised TVC put them where they wanted.

3. Div. 2 is really going to be a great Tourney. A lot of Great games early . Some well deserved teams will be collecting uniforms early.

4. Div. 3 It's Adena and WBurg Districts to win. Can't see anyone beating them with the exception of Alex pulling it over Adena.
I thought Oak Hill was a little overseeded. Saw them play twice this year and looked good and then looked bad.
Why does Zane Trace get a Bye? Is this because of West Union?
District Champions
Div. 4 Paint Valley and Trimble
Div. 3 WBurg and Adena
Div. 2 Warren and the Winner of Jackson/Gallia Game. What a Sectional Final that will be.

Zane Trace was to play #14 Eastern Brown. Since West Union got ejected (as of right now), they moved Eastern Brown up to the #13 seed. That is how Zane Trace ended up with a bye.
