GAHS draws Marietta in baseball tourney

Division 2 Gallipolis Gallia Academy was a number 3 seed in Jackson Sunday and the Blue Devils were paired with former SEOAL member Marietta and the two will play on Monday, May 11, at 5 p.m., in Centenary.
The host Blue Devils are currently 13-3 in all games this spring. Marietta is 12-9, but have won 10 of their last 12 games.
Should Gallipolis win, the Gallians will play the winner of Jackson-Meigs game on Thursday, May 14, at 5 p.m. with site to be announced.
Other GAHS opponents were paired Sunday at the 2015 drawing.
Athens will host Vincent Warren Local at 5 p.m. on May 11.
In Division III on May 13, Fairland will host Nelsonville-York at 5 p.m. Chesapeake will host Federal Hocking at 5 p.m. Coal Grove will host South Point at 5 p.m.Oak Hill will host Wellston at 5 p.m.Belpre will host River Valley at 5 p. m. Alexander will host Rock Hill at 5 p.m. Ironton will host Crooksville at 5 p.m. and Portsmouth will host a foe at 5 p.m.
Wheelersburg, defending champion in Division III, was seeded No. 1 this spring and will play winner of the Fairland-Nelsonville-York game on May 16 at 5 p.m.
Division 1 Logan will play Tri-Valley at Tri-Valley 5 p.m., on May 11.
