RIP Fort Frye’s Sonny Bidwell

Post by zz top »

I don’t know the details but one of the best coaches in the history of SE Ohio in any sport has passed on. Sonny was a great coach, but above that an outstanding man. He will be truly missed by his past and present players and opponents. Truly an all time great. Prayers for his family and all those who knew him.

First class man and a first class family. Outstanding teacher and outstanding coach who loved his players, families, and community.

Coach Bidwell was tremendously loyal and always went the extra mile in everything he did. A man of great faith who is now in a better place.

I spoke to Coach last Thursday and we talked about many things besides baseball. The Beverly community has lost a great volunteer and a tremendous mentor.

Grace and Peace to Coach and his family
