Tournament question

Eastern Pike is playing in thd D3 baseball tourney, Western Pike is playing in the D4 baseball tourney and actually has more boys enrolled. Can someone explain how this has happened?

Eastern Pike is playing in thd D3 baseball tourney, Western Pike is playing in the D4 baseball tourney and actually has more boys enrolled. Can someone explain how this has happened?

Western has 113 boys enrolled with a competitive balance enrollment of 115 which puts them in Division IV for the playoffs.
Eastern has 124 boys enrolled with a competitive balance enrollment of 134 which puts them in Division III for the playoffs.

Division IV is 129 or less, while Division III is 130-213.

Where did you find the enrollment numbers? last i seen Western had more. I believe i seen it on here somwhere.

I tried to copy and past the website but could not get it to work. Go to the OHSAA website, click on Sports, then Baseball, School Divisional Assignments. I hope this helps!

Not to confuse things further, but the figures for 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years show Eastern with 113 and Western with 119 without the competitive balance for each sport. This may be the information you had seen.
