I would love to see West pull off the win, but I think the Burg will be too much for them to handle. I am predicting Burg to have a great hitting game and win by 8-10 runs.

Burg has much more experience and more O . I'd expect burg by 3 or 4 runs , but you never know , thats why they play

Burg is very fortunate to have as many girls come out for SB as they do. Hec most of the girls they cut could start on any team in the area. I heard around 40 came out, is this true?? IMHO, Burg is way to experienced for anybody around here and possibly in the state. I look for them to be the team to beat for many yrs to come unless their girls start playing more ASA instead of h/s ball.

West will show up it;s Burg afterall; this game could surprize some people if West plays solid d behind the freshman pitchers. Then this game could be interesting.EITHER WAY I DONT SEE EITHER TEAM WINNING BY 8-10 RUNS JMO

West is young but they can hit the ball and when u can hit,run,play solid d and have good pitching u can win no matter if u r a freshman or a senior......

It was a close game until the 7th. It's easy....Burg hit the ball...West didn't. This is something that West has struggled with for a long time. You have got to score runs to win ball games! Kegley pitched a pretty good game though. Get'em next time!

Burg didn't really hit the ball well- just a few breaks, need to start hitting the ball before this weekend going to be tested at symmes valley. West pitcher is going to be good with time with control- they are young, bart has done a nice job (as expected) and this team will be tough for the next few years. Burg 4-0

I was pleasantly surprised at the play of West. Several times Burg had runners on and west got out of a jam. I agree, Kegley will be a great pitcher, she showed alot of poise when she got behind or had runners on base. These kids are young and will only get better with time. Good luck to the burg on the rest of your season and to the west girls, pick your head up and have a great weekend at the tourny and good luck with the rest of your season!
