Has anyone scrimmaged yet? I know Meigs is to travel to Jackson on Wed. for a 4:30 start. The game will be played at Southview elem. school which is down 93 towards Oak Hill. Should be interesting to see the Ironladies of 2010.

Fed Hock scrimmaged Nelsonville last night at FH. Score was 16-7 I believe, with Fed winning.

Well Lady Eagles had their first scrimmage for the 2010 season vs Marietta, Taylor Mason took the mound for the first couple innings did an outstanding job, followed by Regina Leftwich for the next couple of innings and finishing off with Natalie Perry, all three did a very good job for their first real test of the season keeping Marietta at bay all evening. . .offensively the core group picks up where they left off from their run to the disticts last season, with Brittany McNabb taking one to left center fence, Natalie Perry driving one, and Regina Leftwich goes deep to right center, Brandi Fitch putting it in play, and going yard Taylor Mason center field solo shot has Belpre fans excited to get to the regular season. . . Good luck lady eagles and also good luck to the Marietta Tigers . . .

Notre Dame did a scrimmage with Raceland yesterday. 2 young guns for each squad threw 5 scoreless innings in the 1st part of the varsity scrimmage. Freshman Miranda Pauley for ND and 8th grader Chole Adkins for Raceland. Seems like it take a while for the bats to catch up to pitching early in the season. neither team had more than a couple hits . Both pitchers are fine players.

Federal Hocking scrimmaged Morgan on Friday and won 4-2

Northwest will scrimmage today both varsity and jv. They held a scrimmage Saturday that included Valley, Peebles and Chesapeak. Unioto was supposed to be there but didn't show. Nw bobbled some, valley's pitching looked strong, Dillow and Brown. Should be a really good game between them, in a week or so. Nw did not throw their top pitcher against valley.

West played Paint Valley Sat. with a score of 17 to o in favor of west. Scrimmaged Peebles today with
a score of 9 to 1-West. Lexey Kegley pitched 4 innings with 11 k's. Everyone hit the ball very well. Good
