I believe Fairfield lost to Meadowbrook last year 3-4 in the tournament.

If so, that means that both of these schools moved up from D4 to D3 this year which is impressive.

They did play in the regional semi last year but it was D3

Meadowbrook beat Fairfield 7 to 5 with a walk off 2 run homer in the 9th inning.
