yes its a go , we practiced last night, 8th grade has been practicing for a week now. And Valley has picked up a couple girls from Northwest so that they now have 2 teams and we have 9 teams in the league ---SUPER ! Coaches meeting tommorrow night at ND at 6. MD

Play begins March 29th and 30th. One game during the week and a DH on the weekend. A double elimination tournament will expand from the 1st weekend in May to the 2nd weekend. There will be 95 game played between 10 teams. Thats and average of 19 games per team for the season.

With the teams in it it sure will help a team like East playing against Burg,Ironton,and Valley

East will be ok. I think we will carry 15 players(not sure on this yet) and try to teach them the great game of softball. I know we will have fun. I'm looking foward to working with these kids. They are great kids.

No not a bad thing. I was quite impressed with how much different the girls played this year in the couple games I seen than in the past couple years. Was also impressed with the tall girl the team had that was only a 7th grader.

East Jr. High will play it's first games Sunday.Game 1 will be East vs Valley.Game 2 East vs Clay. I know the first game will be @ 1:00 p.m at East.

It looks like on my schedule Ironton plays Notre Dame (Gold) April 15 at Ironton. I don't know what time that game will start..I would say anywhere between 5 and 6..Not sure how they do theirs..
