Season starts tomorrow against Webster.

What do you think about this young team?

key word....young. But will have plenty of game time players from last year with everyone back and only 2-3 upper class players 1 senior and 2 juniors I believe. If their middle in strong, the outfield catches fly balls that should be caught, and no mental mistakes they should be fun to watch this year and a possible winning record.

One Senior and one Junior all the rest sophomores and freshman. They should do pretty good this year they have a couple of girls that played travel ball for the past few years. They looked half way decent to be nervous on Saturday and one of their starters only played one inning due to a sprain ankle but she will be ready to play on Monday. The next few years for Tartan softball is looking up.. :122245

East looked good. Still need improvement but not bad for this early in the season.

Pitcher had 11 K's.

Good Defense.

Ok hitting.

Good luck tomorrow....

Having a coach in place for a few years that teaches FUNDAMENTALS and some young talent is always a plus.

Hope we get to play tomorrow....

Tonight: Showers and thundershowers this evening will give way to a steadier rain overnight - a rumble of thunder still possible. Low 56F. Winds SE at 10 to 20 mph. Rainfall near a quarter of an inch.
Tomorrow: Windy...showers and thundershowers likely in the morning...mainly cloudy during the afternoon with a few showers still possible. High 56F. Winds WSW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.
Tomorrow night: Windy with a few showers early. Partly cloudy skies late. Low around 40F. Winds W at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

It will take quite a bit of rain to wash the games out.
The field drains well.....
Hopefully it will quit raining early and the gusty winds will help dry things out!!

Good Luck to both teams

Symmes Valley hammered Wellston and New Boston but last night the Ashland Ladies took the hammer out of the Lady Vikings hand and gave them a taste of their own medicine. 9-0 in six innings.

East is on a roll and the lady vikings had better be ready or they will be humbled at home this evening like they were in Ashland last night. That big new dugout the Vikings have must not be big enough to hold all those ego's. Heard the dugout at Ashland last night was like a war zone.

Oh Well Good luck Odie.
