Not hearing much out of any FAC teams, anyone have any scores. I did hear Jackson did beat Wheelersburg 8-2 in a scrimmage game. I know the defending state champs lost a lot of starters from last year, but had to be very encouraging for the Jackson team heading into their regular season. I know this is more of a football/basketball/track conference..

Hillsboro lost it opening game to Unioto 15-0
Chillicothe won it opening game to Unioto 14-6

I did hear that Jackson lost to Alexander 10-12 (7 home runs was hit in the game.)
Jackson won over Vinton County 17-11 (7 home runs was hit in that game with a game total of 33 hits. They said Jackson girl hit 3 home runs . and that the 2,3,& 4 batters hit home runs in consecutive order.)
That is unreal ?
Were any home runs hit in the Chillicothe vs. Unioto.
Are we seeing weak pitching or stronger kids ?

Has Trace & CH played any games ?

Maybe Ironman92 can get us up to date ?

Vinton County beat Greenfield 23-0
Any news on that game ?

FAC is between MT and Jackson. Chillicothe will hang around, but they don't have the pitching to keep Jackson off the board. Greenfield, WCH, and Hillsboro will be a tick below Chillicothe.

I’m out of the loop a decent bit. Jackson big favorites to win FAC. Not a strong softball league. Chillicothe and Trace decent. Good track league.

The game is “softball”....yet the game is played with Titleist and $400 bats. There never used to be a reason for a fielding mask, now essential. It’s scary. You didn’t used to hardly see an over the fence HR all season. The balls are way too darn hard. It’s dumb and dangerous, but does make the super dads feel good. Jackson’s Field has always been a flyer field and seems to have a constant 20 mph jet stream to RCF.

Could be a very special season for the Ironladies

Greenfield finished 2nd at 6-4 it seems they have a bunch of young kids that can play!!

Good luck to both Greenfield McClain & Jackson tonight as McClain plays New Lexington and Jackson plays Vinton County. If Jackson and McClain both win they would face off for the third time this year with Jackson holding a 2-0 edge in their two meetings. Vinton County has improved and might look a little different to Jackson in their second meeting tonight. V.C. is hitting the ball well going into tournament play. Jackson will need their home run power tonight. New Lexington will be a good test for McClain just to see how much they have improved since the first of the season. Someone from both games keep us posted !

Jackson dominated their tournament game. The other 5 FAC teams went 0-5 in the tournament and lost by a total of 60-14

Did Jackson play each one of them twice ? That would be 10 cupcake wis .

They played each team twice as they are in the same league. All you can do is control your own team. Out of conference schedule much better. 9 other wins. Girls can hit. Gonna take a real good pitcher to beat them. Very internally motivated team and coach.

Tough one for Greenfield tonight!! Lost at New Lex 2-0. They have a nice pitcher but Jackson should handle them!!
