Minford
Burg
Oak Hill
Waverly
North west
Ports west
Valley
South Webster

It will come down to the Burg vs Minford games. My opinion is this is Minfords year.

Oak Hill will be crazy young, 1 junior, 6 sophomores and 9 freshman. They are young but very talented and can beat anybody on a given night but probably a year away from talking title.

Burg/Minford
Oak Hill

The key is minford pitching for them to take the title

Whats the story with wavily and the transfer pitcher , supposed to be a D1 signee , to Miami or Ball St ? Was injured last year . Is she back and healthy ?

Had to sit.

I'm sure most have a few scrimmages in the books. How is everyone looking so far? Burg looked crisp last night easily dispatching River Valley. Hitting was there all through the lineup and fielding was solid across the board with no errors to speak of.

Let's hear some of the others around SOC II.

Lady Pirates took care of Oak Hill throwing their #2. The #2 had 10 strike outs. Will be interesting to see what they do when #1 is healthy. She’s thrown 2 good games in a row.

She pitched an awesome game and the lady Oaks just didn’t have it at the plate tonight. But to say the lady pirates “took care” of oak hill? Come on... it was a 4-0 game with wheelersburg having only 2 earned runs.

Minford got off to a slow start tonight, but still pulled out a 8-0 victory at Northwest to remain undefeated.

Why do the Lady Oaks seem to get slammed on every thread? This is a team that starts 5 freshmen, 3 sophomores and 1 junior and we are hanging right in there with the best teams. I guess some don’t want to admit that. Those girls deserve some credit.

You generally get credit by winning and they aren’t doing that. After first 4 hitters in their lineup the bottom 5 are very suspect hitters. Burgs 8 hitter drove in 4 runs.

Burg started 2 seniors, 1 junior, 4 sophs, 2 freshmen last night.
They are very young. Burgs #2 pretty much shut the oaks down at the plate.

4 runs is a lot when the other team has zero. Goose egg = "took care" of.

Thought the burgs pitcher was a little too much for the oaks. The oaks never really threatened. 1-2 hits, not sure if they ever got anyone to 3rd.

Burg #2 maybe the best pitcher in the league, she dominated the Oaks, if she works at it could be a D1 prospect by the time she is a senior. Burg is for real folks, looking forward to the Monday game at the Oaks. The Burg, Waverly, Minford and the Oaks are all quality teams. The league champ could wind up with 2-3 losses.
