Burg has not seen a really good pitcher in the tourney yet , had a pretty easy road . Wellston , Eastern and Coal Grove in a district final. Have no clue about their upcoming game or Meadowbrook , but Burg would be a favorite easily over Fairfield .

The biggest danger with Burg is that you really don't get a break anywhere in the lineup....they can all hit. All of the starters 1-9 have hit a HR this year, so you really don't have a chance to relax.

One game at a time. I would put the burgs 7-8-9 hitters up against anyone’s 7-8-9. Huge production from bottom of lineup all year for burg.

Good pitching will shut down young hitters ( even good young hitters) . Burg is def above average in hitting but other than freshman Sturgill there isnt the type of depth that past Pirate teams have had . I'm not dogging them , its just really hard to compare them to past two Pirate teams that were JR - Sr dominated . This Pirate team is very young , and will do nothing but get better . But here they set , two games from another final four .
