Upcoming Awards Celebrations

Does anyone know when each conference will be posting their all conference teams??? Does most schools have a Spring sport assembly to hand out awards or individual celebration. I would think schools would do them all together (baseball, softball, and track) so that school support can be shown along with community members.

I know it is just the third round of tourney play but school will be ending soon. I would think the all-conference teams should be voted on soon. Many schools have their spring sports assemblies, and I would think they would want to know those before holding any type of assembly to wrap up the season. Maybe I am wrong though...

What SOC 1 and 2 players the past couple years have made all state ? I have no clue how many Burg might have had , had to be around three or four , Klaiber , Cunningham , Howard and Coleman were all truly special players .

Who might get All state this season ? I'd think the leading players on the top dogs have the best shot ? Who else ?

I would have to say that the #1 seeds would have to have kids good enough to make all state and that's how it fell last year too. There are some very talented kids on average teams as well that will be recognized

I completely agree that there are talented kids on every team. The teams that win are just able to showcase their players more because they have support from other great players. I think coaches notice a stand-out player even on a team that doesn't win many games or the conference. The teams that win more though play their best players in the best positions without being basis to "certain" players. The good or great coaches are the ones who care about the TEAM. Individual awards are so basis because they base it on averages and some kids play everyday and some don't. There are some who never sit the bench and may not be the best player on the field where another may for one reason or another.
