By now they’ve forgotten...lol. Heck it’s time to get ready for football. But makes no sense of why they aren’t released.

Yeah I thought about that but I thought it was sport specific . Baseball doesn't have jack to do with softball.

Seeing teams have awards banquet , on social media , and announce who got awards off their team , but no public release ?

Some coaches who voted may be a little embarrassed when the teams and awards are announced

A little bitterness. It happens when a coach has dominated the league and this was the year everyone was supposed to take them down.

If they don’t publish the names then they don’t have to answer to who wins the conference awards. I’m sure there was a lot of water cooler talk when they did the voting.

I've said it a couple times . I think its worth repeating . I dont have any dog in this argument / discussion ( I dont coach anywhere either) . Its my own belief the best players who had the best year should be recognized for it . Its that simple . Period . But this year , among many years of nonsensical voting , Syd Spence didnt win Pitcher of the Year , Coach Ruby did not win Coach of the year . And as an impartial observer it makes the league and its voting coaches look silly or jealous or whatever adjective you wish to use . Burg went undefeated with a crazy young team in a year where other teams were supposed to catch them . They pretty much destroyed the competition even though they started nearly a new team . So how can the pitcher who didnt lose not win the pitcher award ? how can a coach with a new roster go undefeated and not win the coach award ? It doesnt take a math genius to add the 2 plus 2 to get 4 . Sad stuff really . Until SOME , not everyone , SOME get called out you will continue to see this . Make the votes public at the meeting ( to the coaches) , the behind the doors , water cooler stuff will be exposed . It probably wont stop it but at least you know who the culprits are .

I'll wait til its released , Burg already has their banquet and announced who got their awards , saw it on social media . I dont even know what the final order of finish was in the league . And it might be worth noting what place every team was at the time of the voting . Worth noting in that it makes the two selections even more head scratching.

Would think most teams have already had their banquet. Clay had theirs yesterday.

Hate to play conspiracy theories but like a previous poster said " maybe because they want the whole thing to disappear into summer"

The coaches that voted and control when its released ? I'm guessing because there has to a him/her/they in this somewhere . If the league isnt embarrassed then why not release the picks a week ago ? Maybe I'm making a bigger deal out of it than should be . Thats up to each person to decide . Having watched the SOC voting for years I'd like to see it get cleaned up , so I'm speaking up . ONLY SO THE MOST DESERVING PLAYERS GET THE AWARD BASED ON ON FIELD RESULTS . Thats the way it should be .

Ok. Didn't really mean anything by the question. I just really had no idea who was responsible for releasing the information. If it was one person or if all the coaches decided when it would be released.
