Week 7: Warren (3-3) at Logan (1-5) SEOAL
Re: Week 7: Warren (3-3) at Logan (1-5) SEOAL
Going with Warren in this match up. Logan had a chance to pick up win number 2, not now. Warren should have a field day if they load the box.

Warren lost a heart-breaker to South 10-7. Won't say they deserved to win or anything like that. South played ball control and ate up the cloak. Warren had opportunities in the red zone and frittered them away. Any scores would have made the difference, but that did not happen. I am in hopes that a very motivated group of Washington Countains travel to Logan this Friday. No muddy field there, no drizzly rain. Just a great night for high school football.

Teays Valley taking a spot on the Logan schedule? Now that's a great move. Makes a lot of sense. They still need two more games. How about Canal or Logan Elm? Maybe Circleville or Hamilton Township again. Oh, hey, that's......never mind.

Sounds like we are getting ready for the MSL!!!!!dazed&confused wrote:Teays Valley taking a spot on the Logan schedule? Now that's a great move. Makes a lot of sense. They still need two more games. Teays Valley is very weak in football,Logan won't get much respect or points from playing them, but a win is a win I guess
Re: Week 7: Warren (3-3) at Logan (1-5) SEOAL
Logan needs to schedule teams that they can play with year in and year out. We don't need to be playing teams that we only beat when we are full of talent. A 10/10 record is better than winning three or 4 every 20 years.
It seems like most people I talk to in Logan would take a 8 win season over play offs. Sure they would like for Logan to make the play offs every year but they would be much happier getting eight wins and missing the play off than going under 500.
I would love to see a schedule like.
Canal Winchester
Marietta
Athens
Logan Elm
Nelsonville York
Chillicothe
Gallipolis
Jackson
Portsmouth
Warren

With that schedule or in the MSL Logan would make a playoff run going either 9-1 or 10-0. I still think we are geeting ready for the MSL.noreply66 wrote:Logan needs to schedule teams that they can play with year in and year out. Back to the game at hand, If the Chiefs can run and control the clock plus convert on there scoring opportunities, they should win by 1-2 td's. But if Kelly goes pass happy look out all bets are off!

That's a nice schedule if Logan stays in the SEOAL. I wonder what it would look like in the MSL? Either way, I hope to see NY on the Logan schedule in most years. The MSL would make things interesting because Logan could potentially have a rivalry game for every non-league game. If you played Jackson, Gallia Academy, Athens, and Nelsonville-York, that would be 4 rivalry games right there non-league. If you keep playing Lancaster, that's another one. New Lexington was a former rivalry game as well.

Re: Week 7: Warren (3-3) at Logan (1-5) SEOAL
Here is Logan's 2012 Schedule:
VS Lancaster
AT Pickerington North (Last meeting)
AT Newark
AT Jonathan Alder
VS Nelsonville-York
AT Portsmouth *
AT Jackson *
VS Chillicothe *
VS Gallia Academy *
AT Warren *
Only 4 home games, but NY and Lancaster both at home so it will be a huge gate.
For 2013:
AT Lancaster
VS Teays Valley
VS Newark
WEEK FOUR OPEN
WEEK FIVE OPEN
VS Portsmouth *
VS Jackson *
AT Chillicothe *
AT Gallia Academy *
VS Warren *
My guess is that NY and JA are both possibilities to be expanded beyond the current 2 year contracts.
