Got a wind advisory out now. Not good with the ground saturated and soft as it is. Trees falling into power lines. Said could have gusts at times to over 40 mph tonight.

Mine did it twice at around 6:30 am this morning. My aunt said hers did it a few times but wasn't off but only 5 to 10 seconds each time. I was thinking oh boy here we go, dreading it going off for hours.

Got mine ,it messed up a program I was going to record.The wind will help dry things out, but I don't like it.Water over banks up by Dogwood Crossing but didn't look too bad down by Falls Mill today.

Yep, dry's it out on the top inch or two line, but down in deeper in an adults tree's root system it's like a saturated weak sponge. That takes time. Tree's can give way easy. Roots have nothing solid to hold onto with this much rain. We've been lucky so far the way those winds are howling. Bout knocks ya down at times when I was out there little bit ago. The river is good where it's been worked on but other rural type areas is where it will come out, places ya can and can't see back up in there where the river is still natural and nature carved.

Might see some measurable snow Sunday into Monday. Hopefully it warms up again quickly after. But I'll take it, can't complain about this global warming winter this year.
