History has been made. Can the Vikings continue their run to Columbus?

Who are the starters and bench rotation players for Eastmoor. Height?

Rundown of their team would be appreciated.

VC will match up much better against EA than FU did. I don't think the press will bother VC as much due to their guard heavy team. Also big man Damron will be able to clog the middle a bit better due to his gerth. I look for VC to get some runouts off EA's press it's gonna be a great game.

Ironman92: I will try to answer your question.

Had to drive home before I could comment on Update Thread.

#2 Taevion Kinsey. Guard. Serious Hops. 6'4 Jr

#32 Stanley Williams Post. 6'8 Jr. Handled Woodside mostly 1 on 1.

#23 Tariq Brown Wing. 6'6 Jr. Beautiful High Arching Shot.

#24 Tim Smith Wing 6'4 Jr. Good all around game.

#23 is smooth. Great shot.
Really a few of them have great shots. Perfect form.
2 and 32 have serious hops and crash the boards. They make every shot contested because they are so long.

I think VC COULD pull it off, but they'll need their best game of the year. Definitely have to play way better than tonight.

The game vs FU the warriors couldn't miss in the 1st half and the falcons seemed very rushed and confused. I feel VC is a better matchup. No doubt EA is the best team VC has seen all year but I think VC will hold their own. The one thing that worries me is that when VC gets out rebounded they can struggle. This EA team has the bodies to get boards which could cause issues for the Vikings. VC needs to avoid another slow start.

Kinsey was the D2 central district player of the year - and Ohio University recruit (at the moment anyways)

sorry VC just dont think you have enough for that Eastmoor team, they are a very disciplined team on offense didnt take many bad shots. Very athletic (#2) with an ally oop, that was impressive. They create chaos with their trapping, sometimes almost looks like there is 6 out there.... they didnt foul alot either I am pretty sure the whole first quarter of the FU game had 0 fouls called. They are well coached. VC #4 got to the rim several times vs Meadowbrook dont see that happening vs Eastmoor. FU had a run but couldnt get the shot to go down when they needed it. The 6'8 kid has a nice touch at the elbow length shots, they will need to get offensive rebounds which was something FU coulnt get. Good luck to VC. I am going Eastmoor by 8

I'd like to see VC win the game, but they're going to have to play better than they have in their last two games against an opponent like Eastmoor.

Did not see either game but read a comment from Eastmoor coach saying that making free throws have been a problem for them all year in close games. If Vinton County can make it a 4th quarter game free throws could decided the game.

They weren't a problem last night. They made their free throws, while fu missed all but 1 I believe.

One thing last night was in both games, the refs let the players play. Not a ton of calls. Which was nice to see.

I would LOVE to see VC win this game. Alas, I have to take Eastmoor by ten. VC will have an advantage in the coaching department. If there is a way for VC to win VC's coach will find it. But, it will be a tough grind.

Eastmoor coach is widely regarded as one of the best in central Ohio, for what its worth.

Almost game day!! Bryce Damron and Eli Griffith will have to play a great game tomorrow. Vinton County will match up with Eastmoor in most areas. Combs will have the boys ready for the game!! A trip to the final 4 is going to the winner. Look for this to be a close game!! Vikings defense will be a factor.

I believe he's won a couple State titles on the girls side, and the discipline showed in running an offense last night, it's not an AAU guy trying to pretend to coach real basketball.

Good luck to Vinton County!

Sounds like they might be a little bit of an underdog, but that might not be such a bad spot, go punch your ticket to the Schott tonight fellas.
