Gotta agree with GoAt10. Play hard and see what happens. Win what you can and give all you've got. Winning Disgrict Championship is like winning a state title for SE District.

NW also had a 3-2 result with Minford who is 5-5-1, but they beat them easily earlier in the season. I think a big thing to consider is matchups. Some are better than others. I think NW does well to attack with, and defend against, the direct style of play typical in most SOC strategies. However, I think they might struggle with a more possession-oriented team that attacks the flanks. But, hey I wish them the best and hope they do win state! (Districts)

I think we all know both SOCs are a little down this year. The Mohawks are the best team in the DIII SE hands down.

I haven't seen them, but Lynchburg has to be right there too. They are 6-1-2 and have played a pretty tough schedule. Geographically they aren't in the SE, but for the tournament they are. South Webster is young, but they are 5-0-3 and will continue to get better as the season goes along. Interesting note - all 3 of the SW ties were on turf (Athens, Burg, Jackson)

I also have not seen Lynchburg. Probably a tough team to beat. I haven't seen SW but it's obvious they struggle on turf.

Bold statement about best in SE District hands down. So without a district championship the season is a bust? Not a lot of district champions out of southern OH. Wish them well of course but "hands down?"

I agree with Webster, Lynchburg and Northwest(as well as maybe a couple sleepers). Never a hands down affair really. Id say there are 4-5 teams that could possibly win a district, remember in soccer anything can happen...1 mistake at that level could be the difference.

Ok maybe that was a bit of a bold statement. However, I still think they are the BEST.
