What are you curious for??
Well World Wide Big Baller Brand, I would like DETAILS! Alexander hasn't been shutout ALL season long and now they get shutout and give up 3 goals? Not to mention, it was to a team that they previously beat 2-0. I need DETAILS!
Well first of all you quoted the wrong score, thought you were talkin about Athens!! As for the Alexander game yes they beat Warren 2-0 on their high grass football field after it rained, in which a couple Warren defenders slipped and Mr. Norris got behind them and scored some nice goals. Warren won everywhere else on the field that night, then in the rematch it was raining again at the Warrior soccer complex which is a flat low cut grass field there werent any slips and Warren found the net unlike their first matchup...Warren shutting out another team shouldnt be a surprise as they have only gave up 6 goals through 16 games...Warren has 11 seniors on this squad and they are a very good team...hope this was enough details for you.
Coming a bit late to this discussion, but wanted to say that it isn't a surprise that that Warren had trouble at Alexander's field. It is a tough one. It is narrow, tends to be slippery even on good nights, and is sort of sloped. And sometimes it is so bad that the teams are forced to play on the middle school field, which is even tougher. If the game starts late, the field is downright dangerous it is so slippery--hopefully no one injured. As usual, Warren has an excellent team this year--but there is only so much they can do with those conditions. Just to put things in perspective, in 2015 when Athens won all of their games they struggled to beat Alexander on their own field in spite of having Victor Davis back from a broken leg that year. In 2016 Logan lost to Alex on their field but beat them 6-1 on Logan's field. This year South Webster, missing Alek Blevins and Shane Zimmerman (who graduated and are playing college soccer), still managed to tie Alex--but on their own field. Alex has a strong program and should ask for a better field.

Still amazed at how teams from the OVC received such high seeding. Northwest could face ISJ in the district semi final. The district final game could potentially be against Rock Hill who played tough games with ISJ.... but I don't look for rock hill to make it past the semi.

Northwest scored on a PK and ISJ had an own goal. ISJ starters were pulled early in first half too. Basically became a JV game. Congratulation to Northwest on an undefeated season. They are the best team in Southeastern Ohio District for DIII.

Correct sorry, But they play all the OVC teams and competed. Beating the champion Rock Hill team.

Are they not in any conference?

ISJ is an independent. They played all the OVC teams except for Gallipolis. They also played the following SOC teams: Wheelersburg, New Boston, Portsmouth West, Clay and Northwest. Beating all of them except for Northwest. ISJ record against OVC teams was 2-3-2 and against SOC teams was 4-1-1.

Northwest 8
West 1

This Northwest team looks better than they were mid season. I expect them to make a deep run. I think they'll shock some people.

Busy day at Waverly with an aggressive schedule. Any minor delays and that schedule is going to be tough to keep.
