Burg will not be the more physical team.
You obviously have not watched this burg team play. I have never seen a more violent or aggressive group come through burg.
I have played against and watched Burg for many years. Being more physical is something I have never witnessed, and I don't think this years team is going to be any different. Last year when we were far less talented, we were more physical and I'm pretty sure anyone in scioto county would agree that traditionally west is tougher. Not saying you don't have advantages , because the speed at the skill positions do worry me. But I'm not buying the physical argument.
Lol from what I know and I have been around a long time. West has notoriously been unsportsmanlike. That has changed as of late and that is good. And like I said. Ask anyone who has watched burg this year. They are very physical. So, you can buy what you want. I'm just letting you know that burg will wipe the field with west this year in every aspect of the game..

Not living in the past just stating facts. The same people were saying the same things last year. "Best team burg has ever had" "Going to beat West by 4 TD's". Tell me I'm wrong. No one is denying Burg has a great team. But anyone who has ever played in this game knows records mean nothing. Common opponents mean nothing.

West has had SOME tough teams. I wouldn’t say they are “traditionally tough” by any means. If you don’t believe what bg6 is telling you, just wait. You’ll see what he means. These kids fly around and hit. If the whistle hasn’t blown, somebody is looking for a body to hit.

At least you are honest in the latter part of your comment. That’s admirable.

So get it all in now guys, because after the game all there is, is chest thumping on one side and people making excuses on the other. Not like anyone from West or Burg is going to come on here and say, "yeah I think we're going to lose or yeah you are the superior team" LOL.

The burg Jackson game this year, is the only time I've seen burg play. Burg was fairly physical defensively, good hard clean tackles don't really recall to many missed tackles. Couple times the big back from Jackson took a few of them for a ride. They did a good job of containing the line of scrimmage and Jackson's MO this year is run, when that doesn't work run some more and they've got a big line. So that tells me quite a bit about the burg defensive front. Now offensively I wouldn't call Burg physical at least not that game there wasn't any cases where burg just lined up and punched them in the mouth. It was more finesse play, get the ball out let the playmakers make things happen. That's was my only complaint about burg at the time, was if someone were to slow down the outside stuff can they line up and make plays between the tackles. Haven't seen any other games they've been in so I have no idea, someone else will have to answer that for me.

They line it up big for short yardage situations. You had to of seen that. And they do punch you in the mouth with it. I haven’t seen anyone this year make a stop with Burg in that formation.

Trust me know one on the west side has ever been scared of anyone from Wheelersburg. And that was a hell of a hit. It's funny though that if the pads were off, the burg kid would be going to jail. Adults are not allowed to hit kids...

Never said anything about west fearing burg. Also he is within ohsaa rules.

I’m going to call your school board and emphasize that your school district needs to focus more on reading comprehension.

I feel like this game will play out similar to the Jackson game however, west not being as good as Jackson. West will put some nice drives together, Burg will respond. The burg depth will really start to show in the 3rd. I will be surprised if we don't see the subs getting some reps in the 4th with the running clock ticking especially, if burg continues to keep the penalties in check. 45-14 burg
