DIII men's lacrosse is way different than DI-II, in the fact that 36 teams make the tournament. Automatic qualification (AQ) is granted to 25 conference champions, which form “Pool A.” Two teams are selected from true independents and schools from conferences that do not have an automatic bid for their champions (Pool B). The remaining nine teams are selected from those teams in conferences with automatic bids that did not win their conference’s AQ and the remaining Pool B institutions (Pool C). The teams are geographically paired, whenever possible.

All games, except for the championship, will be played at host team sites. The championship will be May 27 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

Numerous teams from Ohio made the bracket including:

John Carroll
Ohio Wesleyan
Denison

In addition to all the qualifying from Sunday, one national champion has also been crowned. UCLA has claimed the national title in beach volleyball, their first in program history, and the only teams except USC to win, since its inception in 2016. The Bruins had to take the unconventional path to the title, that being through the loser's bracket after losing their second round match, to the team they would eventually beat to win the title, Florida State. UCLA was the bracket's #1 team and had to take this path to win:

vs. #8 Florida International - W 3-0
vs. #4 Florida State - L 3-1
vs. #7 LSU - W 3-0
vs. #5 USC - W 3-1
vs. #3 Hawaii - W 3-2
vs. #4 Florida State - W 3-1

The DIII women's golf national championship couldn't have been any more dramatic. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps entered the final day of competition with a 4 stroke lead over Williams, in which Williams used a team best round of +21 to not only come back and tie, but actually take a two stroke lead at one point. CMS eventually battled back to tie it and send it into sudden death. The two teams played a two hole playoff to decide the winner, and it ended up being Clarement-Mudd-Scripps, claiming their first ever national title.

Clarement-Mudd-Scripps, Margaret Loncki also took home the individual national title, finishing the week at +11.
