Jon Eaton from wheelersburg-Akron
Michael Malone (brother of Antonio) from Portsmouth- Bowling Green I think
If you count Morehead state, Eli Parkes from Minford, Matt Keeney from valley, Luke Keller from Valley played there.
Jerrod Pendleton also played at Morehead state.

In the movie We are Marshall the guy who caught the td
pass to beat Xavier, for the first win after the plane crash, was Portsmouth West's Terry Gardner.

Jackson:

Bobby Exline OSU
Erik Davis OU
Doug Wooten OU
Donovan Workman OU
Reagen Williams Stanford
Justin Farrar Morehead St (is that D1?)
Randy Ridge Yale (D1 or D1A?)
Elijah Woolum Air Force
Chucky Morris Robert Morris
Michael Benson Robert Morris
Justin Mullins...Morehead St
Jay Gleich Marshall?
Vince Jenkins Morehead St
Jay Blankenship Morehead St

Morehead St was a D-1AA which is now the modern FCS schools. I believe that is correct? (hope anyway)

Josh was mid 90's. Don't forget Burris. He was a good lineman.

Looking at this list of players makes me think about how hard it is to get a D1 scholarship. D1 is a whole different level. Then only a few on the list had a chance at the NFL. Pretty crazy with all the years these school have had football and all the players that have came through only a small group went on to D1.

On this team was Jeff Angle of Logan that didn't make the trip because of injury.

Brian Mays 1982 class at NYHS - Attended Ohio U. Started 4 years at MLB. Still in their record book for tackles in a season and tackles in a career.
Jay Edwards 2007 class at NYHS - played against some pretty great competition. When he played they went up againts OSU with T-Pryor
Didn't one of the Polly boys go to Kansas or Kansas State?

Athens has a lot but the big names

Russ Finsterwald (1915) Syracuse and Detroit. Coached OU. His son from Athens was PGA Champ
Hubert Bobo (1953) Ohio State. LA Chargers. National Champ. 3 time state champ. Most dominated running back in Ohio High School Football history. Had to show Chauncey Dover some love
Todd Synder (1965) Won Ohio University its last MAC title in the USA's top offense. Turned down a full ride to OSU to play at OU
Grant Gregory (2003) Kansas State Probably the best skill player to play in the SEOAL
Trae Williams (2014) Northwestern started CB as a freshmen. One of the best athletes ever from this area
Joe Burrow (2014) LSU Mr. Football. In his own category

Also from Logan:

Patrick Angle originally went to Youngstown State, then transferred to Ohio Northern.
Brooks Burris went to Ohio State
Tom Smith I believe went to OU (he's also OU's school record holder in the men's discus when they had men's track)
