Re: 3-0 Bloom-Carroll @ 1-2 Teays Valley
Hearing a LOT of good things about Bloom Carroll this year. Their QB gave us fits at HT last year, and I've been told he continues to improve.

I am recording this one and when I watch it, I expect to see B.C. winning easily.

Blooms QB is good but they are D4 and Teays Valley D2. Numbers do matter and Bloom could still make playoffs.

Lakewood and Liberty Union are not very good. If you watched some of their Lakewood game on-line, there were some concerning things that a better team, like TV, could exploit.
Otto is still a pretty good QB, but Teays Valley has a much more experienced team (especially on defense, which can flat out play) and they're also a bigger school. That's a combo that worked for the Vikings tonight.
I believe Carroll is playing between 7-9 sophomores and freshmen this season. Very young football team with just four returning starters from a year ago. This game will show them some things they need to work on. As they continue to develop these younger players, they're become a better football team. I expect Carroll to make the playoffs for a third-straight season, which would be a program record.

Watched this one also. The size in the lines were difference was the biggest difference to me. TV was able to push BC around.

Congrats to the Vikings. Likely they won't face a more serious challenge for the MSL Buckeye crown in the games remaining.
Re: 3-0 Bloom-Carroll @ 1-2 Teays Valley
They have to go to Hammy and then they go to Amanda in Week 10. Can't discount those games, but I agree TV would be a good favorite in both.

Re: 3-0 Bloom-Carroll @ 1-2 Teays Valley
It only takes one more quarterback transfer (maybe from Liberty Union, LOL) for the top to completely blow off in Carroll; the short-term success of which will be outweighed by the long-term discontent within the community when, time and time again, kids that have bought into the program at the middle school and freshman level get screwed come varsity level because D1-caliber athletes from neighboring districts pour in.bman wrote: ↑Fri Sep 14, 2018 1:25 am Lakewood and Liberty Union are not very good.
