1. 6-0 Coldwater 13.6500
2. 6-0 Mechanicsburg 12.2667
3. 6-0 Lima Central Catholic 11.6667
4. 6-0 Maria Stein Marion Local 11.6333
5. 5-1 Troy Christian 7.8333

Lucas plays two of these programs.

Yeah, Troy Christians 1 loss was to Lucas.
That region is unreal. Marion Local is #4. Crazy.

Anyone down that way know anything about this D4 Harrison Central team that Lucas plays this week? They are 1-5, but their losses are to teams that have a combined record of 26-1....WOW.

Don't know anything about them but they must be descent. Their loses were to a D3-D4-D5 twice and a D6.They also put up some points in all of them.I would say Lucas has their hands full. They need this one because I can possibly see 2 more loses if they want a home game.

D6 is loaded. Kirtland, Coldwater, and Marion Local would beat the D5 state champ by a running clock

I know some consider those 13 and 14 Marion Local teams as one of the greatest Ohio small school of all time. Of course they were D7 those years

In 2013, Marion Local won the D7 title over Trimble, they also beat Coldwater by 33 that year and Coldwater was the D5 champ. I'd say it's more of a fact than assumption that the 13 Marion Local team was the best small school team of all time in Ohio

Their schedule is a meat grinder. At season's end, it could be the hardest D7 schedule in the state.

Three state champions from the same conference. Unheard of. I looked it up, their conference has 39 football state titles.

Lot of people think Marion local recruit's but they don't.Sure they have a few move ins all schools have that.I was told they don't play tackle football until JH.and in JH its manditory that all play. They run the same offense from pee wee to HS.During the summer they do not practice after noon so kids can go home help on the farm. That's a program. They moved their game with Goldwater to week 10,that's a D6 championship game the 50-50 has been around 12000 in the past bet its closer to 15000 this year.Winner number 1 seed, usually the number 1 seed would already be desided but not this year comes down to week 10.

Yes it is.Even if they lose 3 of the last 4 they still get in at 5-5.Hope they finish 5 or 8 if they do go 5-5.Really don't want them to be in 7th and play them first round that would be a regional finals game in first round that would suck for both teams.

I agree. That would suck. I see a 7-3 (or even 6-4) Lucas team easily getting the #3 seed. Lucas v Trimble is my prediction for the Region 27 championship game if the seedings fall right. Their first round game last year was a real barn burner.

Trimble vs Lucas won't be title game if Prep keeps winning. It will be a 2 vs 3 semi

Your as dumb as I thought you was first of all they get move ins bc they go recruit them and how do you run the same plays in peewee when you don't start until Jr high come on man stop with all that trash

:? The MAC has 33 football state titles: Marion local 10, Coldwater 6, St. John 6, St. Henry 6, Minster 3, Versailles 1, Fort Recovery 1 and that's not including the 6 Versailles won before they got in the conference. Talk about conference games, if you win conference you win state seems to be the motto for most of those teams and if we don't win conference we'll very rarely play other teams as good. It's amazing to me. (* The conference as a whole has 128 state championships in both boys/girls sports).

I can see a 6-4 finish, but hoping Waterford jumps them to 3 and Lucas to 4.Waterford will win out and they will pick up a lot of points of southern week 8 even tho they are D7 they have only 1 lose.Drew has Waterford finishing at 7-3 but that's wrong they will be 8-2 plus they have to play a D6 belpre that sits at 4-2 right to.it will be close.

As far as 5-5 goes...I don't foresee anyway River beats Lucas this year. River basically lost everything, and the Cubs returned a ton. Last's years game in Hannibal was literally stolen from Lucas by the officials. In my 30+ years of watching football, that game was THE most horrible, blatantly-one sided, disgusting, game-stealing officiating I have ever seen at any level. That includes last week's Browns game....lol. In saying that, D4 Harrison Central, D4 Cincinnati Aiken and D6 state-ranked Lima Central Catholic are going to be a tall order. We will see how it shakes out.
