This idea was thrown at me by some Waterford fans. If it rains hard enough it might not even be safe to play on that field.
If the field gets worse would iT get moved to Marietta? If not there then where would they go?
If it gets moved it would get moved to Marietta’s new field. They’ve always been willing to host.
Marietta Ohio down on the river? Why would this game moved 2 hours from either school?

Waterford is about a half hour from Marietta. They’re in the same county as Marietta.I’m not sure how much farther it would be for Berne Union. Plus the college just put in a new turf field.

Not much time difference for Berne Union; instead of exiting onto Rt. 339 to Waterford, they'd just stay on Rt. 7 to Marietta and the distances are pretty much the same from that point.

 They could always use Fort Frye's field across the bridge but It's grass also and might be a little torn up from their game the previous night. It does seat about double the number of people I believe.

Nobody has anything else to say... all has been said. These two teams match up very well, actually its odd how the quarter back and running backs have the same numbers and close to the same stats. The only clear advantage anybody has is Waterford. 1. All-Stater Braden Bellville playing in possibly his last game ever and 2. Home game

After Fort Fryes playoff game Friday night, the field still looks good. One mile from Waterford field.
Also heard OHSAA is looking to maybe move to Marietta College field which is "turf".

Decision to be made tomorrow AM.

Turf is always good but if they could play next door, why not if It's still in good shape :D

Hey Rickoshay

Love how you guys make up stuff like OHSSA saying we have to move to another location.

Just to educate you a little turfgrass is consider natural grass and field turf is synthetic.
