Alexander is a much stronger team then what you have them at. With a 6'11" post player who can control all areas in the paint, offense and defensively that can destroy anyone who comes in his area and extremely strong shooters always in the corner waiting for a kick out and the fastest guard in the TVC. They are returning many players from last year along with four returning starters. Much more experience with playing in big games this year. Looking forward to the Alexander Athens game. WAY underrated!!

Yes, JK can shoot better than Elijah but Elijah can get to the rim. Good matchup, I'm looking forward to it.

... as we all know the Pre-season rankings are a "starting point" ... trying to get teams "as close" to where they should be as I can so that we don't have teams jumping 20-30-40 spots in a week or 2 ... I try always get to the Alley at least once a season - always need to stop in a give shout at Lou Horvath on the PA ... good people at Alexander for sure ... I will keep a close eye on the Spartans so the adjustments can be made for not only them but others in that first couple of weeks of the season ...

Waverly is playing Athens in Piketon. Piketon and Waverly stopped playing in 1970, resumed in 1997 in Holiday Classic, which is always held in Waverlys gym.

Well Warren lost a couple of key players due to the coach

Well 99% of the people on here really respect the coach and I’d guess 85% or so think he is one of the top coaches in the entire SE District.

I'm a Coach Maddox man - Coach Maddox does whatever is BEST for TEAM ... players PT is dictated by "the player(s)" plain and simple - players who play D, give it up for TEAM, contribute offensively - they play ... not sure how players don't play without practices having really started ... players decisions in my book - decisions that the players must live with ... the coaching staff will play with whoever is willing to play the game the way the coaching staff wants it played ... the Warriors will move on IF the post above concerning players not playing is true ... it's a non-issue ... the Warren Warriors will be the BBB no matter who plays - Coach Maddox will coach/teach the game to those who are willing to put TEAM above themselves (the individual) ... I look forward to seeing this years edition of the Warriors !

1. Logan : the Purple Chieftains brings years of varsity experience into the 2018-19 campaign with this season lineup ... arguably the best player in the Southeast District Bo Myers (6-5) a perimeter treat from anywhere on the court ... with Logan's lack of overall/experienced size Myers will need to be a threat in the paint as well ... running mates with 3 years of varsity experience under their belts Coby and Caleb Bell both seniors, both perimeter threats, both can get to the rim, both play outstanding D ... more offense will need to come from Wes Brooks & Landon Little both saw lots of varsity action (Brooks as starter/Little off the bench) neither looked to score last season/both have the potential to hit the 3 ball ... last years 6th man Layton Cassady was instant offense from behind the 3 point line ... if Logan goes with experience fans will be looking at "small ball" - tough man D, push the ball, spotting up on the perimeter for the 3 ball ... Logan averaged around 20 triples per outing last season , with the small ball lineup look for the Chiefs to rain 3's at a 24+ per game clip this winter ...
