Green bobcats, the fact that people are talking about you this week means your still playing while most others are not. Congratulations. Lot of people are being eaten alive with their own jealousy.

LOL...still cant figure all the hate for Green on here given that they have been terrible for so long. How can anyone not be happy for a school that was on the brink of shutting down the football program one season, and then making the playoffs the next season? No matter, good luck to Green this weekend and congrats on a heck of a year no matter what the scoreboard ends up saying.*

If Green pulls this upset.....I can see it now.

A team goes from forfeiting games to the playoffs, beats the #2 seed and state ranked team.

Fourteen or fifteen years ago there was a team from West Portsmouth that was matched up with a "Giant" in Youngstown Urseline and some of the same "talk" was going on about how the West Portsmouth Kids did not belong in that game. The Senators went on to win that night with an outstanding team effort. Just saying............

I could be wrong but I believe they lost in the state finals that yr. just saying. That’s why the game is played. Go slay goliath

Just a lil FYI for the for mentioned statement.

First Round: West beat (unbeaten) new lexington 34-6
Second Round: West beat (unbeaten) coshocton 27-21 who they lost to 34-20 in wk 10.
Round Three: West beat portsmouth (who some say was the fav to win it all) 34-18 who they lost to 27-18 in wk 3
Round Four: West beat youngstown ursuline 13-7
State Finals: west lost to kenton 45-13 who was led by one of the best qb’s in the nation in ben mauk.

So anything can happen

River is just so down this year. They only had 16 kids in uniform at Lucas.

I can’t believe people are really debating this.. 😂
Congrats to green for a good season, I have family from there...
but I’m from central Ohio and have seen the difference between schools & their football teams...
Harvest prep could win this by 100 if they wanted honestly...
Green had a good run tho!

HP really hasn't played a tough schedule. i have seen them play 1 time this year...not the normal HP team not saying that Green will win, or keep it close but only beat Fisher Catholic by a score of 12-0. and by the way----Every year in the first round there are blowouts, does that mean that they don't deserve to be in the Playoffs? NO----per the OSHAA system they EARN the right to play in week 11....just like Green, Funny how if you look at these posts, people sign up and their first post on the entire website is bashing Green. Hmmmm wonder who that is AGAIN??? LOL
