Have to go with Burg for D5

These Seniors were 16-0 in Junior High and after last week are 49-3 in High School. Their 3 losses were to Coldwater (2015), Coshocton (2016) and Bishop Hartley (Week 2-2018)

With Jr High, the Seniors playing together have been 65-3 and I am hoping we can add 5 more W's on to that combined record

Lots of these Seniors will be playing on Saturdays next year and some will be playing throughout the week with college baseball and basketball

Anna getting a lot of love on this topic. Their defense gave up 249 points during the season, average 24.9 points per game. They play the #4 seed in their region this weekend, Elyria Catholic who is 8-2 and scored 410 points during the season, average scoring 41 points per game.

Defense wins championships. We'll see how far Anna gets.

Go ahead and pick them but they ain’t the favorite. I would consider them a contender but trust me, last year you had to defend to win the state in d5 and probably will have to this year. Something they haven’t proved yet. Last year drew Pasteur had burg #1 to win d5. He has them #1 again this year. He’s got #2 Anna, #3 Madison. Anna could win the state but they aren’t the favorite. Burg is. Madison will be a battle should both get there.
