Has to have been to ease up the schedule after graduating a good senior class. That’s one of the things that would make sense, because that is 2 good programs to drop.
Yep, the boys are young and the whole scheme has to be changed, to play totally different type of game. They are deep ,but; have alot to learn. By tournament time they will be pretty good.

The Pack kid at Georgetown is pretty darn good. Good size too. Ripley and Georgetown being neighbors have always had some awesome battles on the hardwood.

I can’t believe that Ripley lost to a team who lost to Hillsboro.

I was coming back here to make the comment about Keets playing. That does make a big difference for them. I retract my statement

When Piketon was down they kept Peebles on the schedule. I believe they beat them Beau Justice's junior year (he had 6 points at half. finished with 40 LOL) and the game was cancelled the following year. Peebles had a solid JV team last year. I just don't understand why they would drop solid non-conference games.

Friday night will be a great one for Hoops
West Union @ Ripley
Eastern Brown @ North Adams
Fairfield @ Whiteoak
Manchester @ Fayetteville
Lynchburg-Clay @ Peebles

EB, NA, WU, Ripley all undefeated in league so far in the early season and picked 1-4 in the big school so tomorrow night will be very interesting. Fairfield and Whiteoak sitting atop of the small school division will play in what is a really good rivalry as well. Also LC’s record is 1-3 after their win Saturday vs Hillsboro. Good luck all teams and hope for injury free night!

I believe Coach Arey is starting to get his young cagers to believe in the system. Sophmores and the Juniors are learning to play varsity and believing in them selves.
