I do like reading the stuff the way you post it.
Anyone who takes the time to post on the Buckeyes, I give mad props to.
Maybe starting next season I will do game threads.

I would say baseball but its hard to find many games on TV and almost as hard to find them online.
Plus I find myself watching more college softball than baseball.
Thanks man. Just let me know. I think people like it both ways, just a matter of opinion.

I'm undecided on if I want to do a thread for OSU baseball or softball this year. I have threads set up for winter sports. But, the spring sports (baseball and softball) are so long.

They are long and with so little media attention, its hard to keep interested in it.
I think I will do short game threads on the games, I actually watch and if our post start cluttering the front page and others complain, we can always combine ours and see how that goes. I do not see it being a problem, with the forum as slow as it is.

Sounds good! I try to keep this college sports forum interesting. Once we get out of football season not much happens on it.

I will add my post to this thread also.
Maybe between the two of us we can get things moving.

Big game tomorrow will give us an even better gauge of where this team is at. I have a feeling the Buckeyes will pull off the W. Looking forward to this one!

Nick Ward, the 6'9" kid from Gahanna was a big pickup from Columbus for Michigan State. We can't let kids like that get away. Win or lose this was a big non recruit from the back porch.

The better team definitley won this one.
Michigan State(13-2, 4-0 Conf) waltz into Columbus and used a big 2nd half to smack the home team right in the mouth.Cassius Winston(Detroit)led the winners with 25 points, with 18 coming in the 2nd half. Nick Ward(Gahanna,Oh) chipped in with 21 points and 8 rebounds.

For Ohio State(12-2, 2-1 Conf) scoring just 34 in the 2nd half led to the loss. Michigan State put 50 up in the half.Kaleb Wesson(Westerville,Oh) had 25 points and 8 points before fouling out,to lead the Buckeyes.

Even though they didn't get blown out or anything, this was the Buckeye's chance to show that they belonged up their with the big boys again.

The two best teams they have played at home, they have lost to.

Was a good game until the officials decided to get involved. Officiating didn't cost OSU the game, but it completely changed the flow from the 1st half to the 2nd. Allowed physical play in the first, and touch fouls in the 2nd. Buckeyes need to regroup now.

1st bad loss of the year. Question is, how does this young team bounce back?

Holtmann's squad plays fundamentally sound, team oriented basketball. They do not yet have the gifted "go to" scorer or big man to consistently slug it out in the Big 10. They still are on track for 20+ wins and a likely middle of the pack conference finish. I think we will all take that as a successful season compared to the downward spiral of Thad Matta's last few seasons.

I think K. Wesson has been great, but if you don't have a consistent shot maker, it's too easy to collapse on him. They need a guy on the perimeter that can be consistent.

Buckeyes completely outplayed today. More than likely will completely drop out of the rankings.

As I predicted, OSU dropped out of the rankings this week. They are now receiving votes.

Have to find a consistent perimeter threat on offense if they want to stop the bleeding. I'd like to see Ahrens get a little more time.
