WOW!! Athens makes those foul shots and this one isn’t close!! But that’s why you play the game. Hats off to LE!! Great bunch of ball players right there. Convo bound baby!! 93Bulldog how did we do at the line? I probably don’t want to know. And how about that Elijah Williams coming back from injury and Hynes hitting that one and one free throw down 38-39 to get us to OT.

After just reading that 22-0 Wheelersburg only beat Meigs 35-28 I don’t feel bad at all about the way this game was won. These Seniors and all the Bulldogs deserved this. LE players are mostly Sophomores and will get their Time. And don’t forget it was a couple years ago that LE shocked Warren in the Sectionals-LE is well coached and Battle!!!

PFloyd just posted his rundown. Athens 10 of 23 from foul line! LE was 7 of 11. This game wouldn’t have been close had we knocked down some foul shots. As I stated on PFloyds post-Athens was winded at the line-LE just so quick and conditioned that our big boys were wore down.

LE's movement away from the basketball was not ideal on that last possession.

Never count Stiverson and LE out . They will be quicker than the Bulldogs and more discipline . The Bulldogs will go zone because they are not ( IMO) a good Man D Team . TO may play a big part . The Bulldogs needs to keep the TO under 15 . Look for the game to go down to the last possession and may go to OT.. Not a good matchup for either team . Edge to the Braves.

Man great call! I give LE credit cause they found that soft spot in the Zone and that number 10 did not miss that 8-10 foot jumper in the paint. If Athens goes Zone next week they need to clean that up for sure.

LE goes the entire 4 min OT with 2fg attempts with 1 being the last sec desperation. weird game for LE the lil guys battled hard but butcher and chubb needed life support cause they were out of gas and LE still played half court with a 2-3 min exception when they went on a run. if u have 19 turnovers might as well play fast and turn it over. attacking a 2-3 zone with two undersized guys out top trying to play hot potatoes was crazy. bring the 3rd guard out and make someone commit! Le's big was a non factor even on the boards, 5 guards playing fast would have gave the same D but more O.
