You can limit attackers but if bench players begin to score there isn’t much you can do. Games like this are tough.transplant wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 3:28 pm like I said, I agree, there needs to be something in place so these scores don't happen. I guess I was just asking, since there isn't anything in place, what should teams do to prevent this? What is a good number to stop "attacking"?

Right, I agree. That was my point. Since there isn’t any mercy rule in place, it’s tough. Either way it can be “embarrassing” or whatever you want to call it for the losing team. Either they are getting scored on the whole game, or they are just running around chasing the ball while the other team just passes it around and played keep away. Hopefully the winning team would at least put kids on offense that don’t get a chance to ever play offense. Like I said, there are things you can do to limit the number of shots, but I agree. Games like this are very very tough.rxburgfan wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 10:46 pmYou can limit attackers but if bench players begin to score there isn’t much you can do. They only played a half game before the varsity but it was competitive. They square off again for a full JV game this Monday 9/14 @ Valleytransplant wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 8:20 amGlad to see valley having a JV team. At 18:11 in second half with Burg up 4-1 on North Adams, the e re referee and sheriff just cleared the North Adams stands for verbally abusing the referee.

There is a systemic problem at NA. No reason for this many cards regularly. And a good indicator is they had to clear the stands if NA fans. Apple did fall too far...No reason for a HS to allow this behavior. But it must be ok with the AD. So the Superintendent needs to be involved.
