Yes 3 time defending state champs I believe, they beat Moeller last week. My brother lives 2 minutes from the school and his kids are recent graduates and had 600 in their senior class alone! Huge school

Up two scores at the start of the 2nd. Eagles didn’t lay down and roll over though.

Sounds “RECENTLY” familiar. & i STRONGLY FEEL THIS IS SMART SCHEDULING.
IMO:…R-19 & 20 DV….
MUST venture OUT of their annual “Comfy-Cozy” Conferences & Local “Rival” games, in hopes of EVER considering competing for & bringing home The state Final Crown.
In The most recent opportunities for ANY of R19 &R20 Semi-Final survivor, it has become abundantly clear, that in the state final, The R17 representative, was superb & it was evident that they had a much tougher match up in their semi-final game, than the D5 title game.
I will say the 2019 IHS/K-Land match up was the better of any efforts of this scenario
& IronTon Belonged there by ALL means & is the only exception, where R19 competed & IronTon had a very strong showing & represented R19 well.
SO…..HARVEST PREP KNOWS what they need to do to compete for a state championship!!!!
Schedule aggressively UP & OUT!!!
I do think R19 is up for grabs & it Will be an interesting year to see who moves onto face the R20 winner if that trend continues like it has for quite a while.
Once again, THE R17 Leader, PERRY, is extremely talented, & being Senior Laden, are the considerable favorites to emerge out of R17.
Last year, PERRY went 11-3 only loosing to:
D2 RiverSide 7-35 (11-2 on season).
D6 KirtLand 16-36 (15-1 on season) -D6 Runner up-
D5 Canfield South Range 21-49 (16-0 on season) -DV STATE CHAMP
Perry is also a drop from D4 to D5 two seasons ago.
Have a great FootBall Saturday ALL!!!
