this right here i thank we can all agree with. He likes he, hisself, him and only himself and could use what you talking about bc he thinks he doesbt stink.

PJ aka Plumber Jarrell get himself a staff yet or is ad and super really gonna coach??? no way that can possible happen

Could be worse, not having enough players to field a team ?

Gallia always seems to have decent speed, but what separate an average year from a good year is whether or not they can get the big boys in the trenches. Gotta have a Clary or a Starnes or both to really move the ball. If your OL isn't averaging 245+ you're gonna struggle.

Shameful. All you have to do is take a short drive down Rt. 218 to see what a program with pride looks like. Or take an even shorter drive across the bridge.

How long has Darst been at Point? Seems like at least 20 years by now

That's what I'm saying. GA has a handful of parents in the community who need to bite their g.d. tongues and let the COACH be the Coach, since that's why he has that title.

Common sense ain't too common in the Old French City anymore. Back in the day, if a kid mouthed off, he was running suicides and doing push-ups til the coaches got tired of watching it. If he mouthed off during a game, Coach would grab him by the facemask and scream at him, reminding him who runs the show.

Now it's all bass ackwards. Entitled Mama's boy kids think they're all that and a bag of chips and they refuse to let a Coach be tough on them.

Uncoachable kids become unemployable adults and I think we can all agree there are wasaaaaaaayyyy too many of the latter, nowadays. Boys and young men need a father to be tough on them at home and a teacher/coach to be tough on them at school. That's how young men learn. Mommy coddling her special little boy forever doesn't accomplish anything and does the boy a disservice in the end.

I'm gonna get off my soapbox and get back to football. I hope Coach Jarrell has some patience and has the stones to tell nosy parents to stick it somewhere the sun doesn't shine when they try to coach from the bleachers. Every coach has to start somewhere. If he reads this site, I would suggest first going to the wrestling and track coaches to try and recruit from their ranks. Then get in the hallways and look for all the big boys you can find and don't take no for an answer.

too bada that 75 percent that junior high staff is daddys who better listen to their wifeys.they always had the stigma of “daddy ball” now it gonna be hard not to say it isnt. When daddies are coaching they be friends with some of the other kids and there mommies ans daddies so it just gonna be second nature that some kids get more playing time than others. When you done washed out all of the potential coaches in the area who are teachers in there schools.this be what ya get

how many teachers in the district are on varsity staff? ZERO
how many teachers in the district are on middle school staff? ZERO
Bad state of affairs in this program.ONE PERSON TO BLAME
