I'm not very good at predicting Wellston's outcomes but feel they'll find a way to win this one.

Re: Wellston at River Valley
My question is.....Which RV team shows up?
The one that trailed Meigs 32-0 at halftime?
Or the one that outscored Meigs 34-6 in the second half?
It's homecoming night for the Raiders. I hope they can get back on the winning track!

The answer to your question can be found in this riddle; will Wellston's starting QB play, and if so will he play in the second half?RVRaiderFan wrote:My question is.....Which RV team shows up?

Honestly, I think getting that first half beat down was good for them. Wins are going to be tough to get in league, but I feel they can get this one. They definitely need to take care of the ball.RVRaiderFan wrote:My question is.....Which RV team shows up?

Re: WK6 Wellston (3-2) @ River Valley (3-2)
I agree with you Blizzard that beat downs can sometimes bring out the best in a team.....but......wasn't the "beating" they took from NY the week before wake-up call enough?
Raiders back on track this week in a tough game.....difference..... this game is at River Valley.
I look for the Raiders to win the battle in the trenches......take care of the ball......and get the hard-fought "W".

Depends which Wellston team shows up, consistency or lack thereof seems to be the issue with Wellston. One week over 400 yards of offense with the line playing great, the next barely over 100. We will see what happens come Friday though. Gonna say Wellston by a TD.

I like Wellston in this one. Coach Phillips is doing a very good job and with two close to even teams I think he makes the difference.

Better scouting, game plan, game management and overall readiness. He is seasoned and a much better coach than RV's.

Game-day!! Looks like this battle will take place on Lake Raider. Best of luck to both teams and hoping for an injury free game and a MUST win for the Black and Silver. This game should be played North and South and the toughest, more physical team should win. And I predict a RAIDER VICTORY!!!!!
RV still controls their own destiny.....a lot of teams cant say that.......no looking ahead......win--one play at a time.....one game at a time.
GO # 7!!

Wasn't trying to be harsh, just honest. He will out coach most coaches though so it's not just an RV Coach hating comment.Stone Cold wrote:Ouch...Harsh words! LolMeyerSpread wrote:Better scouting, game plan, game management and overall readiness. He is seasoned and a much better coach than RV's.

Let's go Rockets.
Win another one, one week at a time.
4-2 sounds pretty good.
