Congrats to the Lady Oaks on another regional appearance. Physical ballgame by both teams, they let them play, which is something fans should come to expect in the tournament. Congrats on a good effort by the Lady Spartans and a nice season for them as well.

I was disappointed in an Alexander fan — an adult by the way — not too far behind the Oak Hill bench yelling comments at one of the Oak Hill players, who is a 16-year old kid, after the game was over.

I'm sure this fan wasn't representative of all Alexander fans, but for an adult to yell at a kid in that manner in which he did......all I have to say is that this so-called adult has the real growing up to do.

Anyway, a hard-fought game by both teams at the Waverly Downtown Arena. Got to see a lot of Oak Hill and Alexander friends and acquaintances I have met over the years in covering those two teams at one point or another throughout my career.

Iwearblacknikes....I just heard the tail end of what was being said, but I know I heard "Adkins" at the end and Karissa turned around and looked up from the bench. It wasn't pleasant and I won't repeat here what was said.
