We were up 3 scores. We beat ourselves he didn't. But you got the W and that is all that matters.
I still think this game will be closer than many expect.
BTW - he was the while team last year.
Athens 50 - Welston 36
What? Saltzmen is one of the best athletes to ever play football at Athens. He was not only the best player that night, he was the best player in the TVC. Any other players playing for a college like Georgetown from last year?

I would like to retract my prediction. The more I think about it Wellston is way more physical than Athens . Athens look very uninterested in blocking and tackling . If Wellston can win at the point of attack I like Wellston to pull the upset .

13 and 7 for Wellston are nice players that fought hard but not a very good football team. Was a running clock right after halftime.
Re: WK8 Wellston (3-4) @ Athens (5-2)
After Meigs put up nearly 50 points last week against Athens I though for sure we would score more points than what we did last night. Very disappointing to say the least.
Need to find a way to put together some momentum to try and get both of the last two and get to a .500 season and then use that to build on for next year.

Yeah I guess I missed that one . Predicting an upset is hard to do , I figured Wellston would be more physical .

A 22 point win is always a good thing.
Congrats on the win and good luck next week against 6-2 River Valley.
