Do Not Know Much about Coshocton, So it's Hard To Give Any Input On This. Judging By The Points The Defense Hasn't Allowed, I'd Feel Confident that Burg Walks Away With The Region.

34-21 Burg

Logan is a nice venue but getting out of that parking lot is the suck.

Haven't seen Coshocton video yet, but if they are a power running team that will make for a good game. Control the clock keep ball out of our hands.

NY had success early on moving the ball on ground against us, if we have work to do it is probably controlling the LOS on the defensive side of the ball.

But I like our chances.

Rather see this one in Athens than Logan honestly.

I can't believe what I'm reading. The strength of this team is the defensive line. Lol. Nelsonville had 54 yards total!,before the long pas play. SMH

The 54 yards was due to NY not being a particularly strong opponent. SMH

Let's look objectively here. Burg throttled Ridgewood. Garaway beat Ridgewood by 20. Coshocton beat Garaway by 3. That tell me Burg wins by 29. Early week prediction:
Coshocton 9
Burg 38

Coshocton is 7 miles from Ridgewood. The 2 haven't played each other since 08. Coshocton runs the Wing T and is certainly a team that hangs their hat on the running game. They have 4 backs and a Qb that are very big for skill players, all well over 200 lbs. the backs are big and physical, not a lot of speed. The Qb throws intermediate routes ok, mostly in the flats. Only run a select few pass plays, in which typically Qb rolls out, usually to his right. Wr is not really used in passing game at all. Tight end #39 is a big kid yet Oline is not real big, backs are bigger. Gonna see a lot of the FB on belly and trap plays. Run jet sweep, buck sweep, Tackle trap and a double inside handoff off of buck sweep action.
Defensively they run 4-4. Defensive tackles are small not great, 39 is one end, big kid solid player. Their Rbs are their linebackers and safety's, best players on defensive side as well.
Coshocton kids play hard, will not be intimidated. Burg is better team IMO. Good luck from the Wood

Good luck Burg.

I think Coshocton gives them fits and this is a very close game in the 4th quarter. Burg should be able to use their depth to pull it out.

Judging by past games this season, Coshocton gives up points. Burg Does Not. Havent allowed more than 19 points in a game a that was once. Very few points allowed
Not saying it will be the case here, but when you are giving up 20-30 to lower quality teams..... Burg's offense "should" exploit Coshocton's Defense

Coshocton defense has given up 210 points this year, Burg has given up 94. Burg offense has scored 462 points, Coshcoton has scored 428.

A common opponent is Ironton. Burg was leading 42-0 at halftime against Ironton in the 1st game of the year. Coschocton beat Ironton 34-11 in the first round of the playoffs.

My thoughts...Burg Defense is NASTY (gives up average 7.8 points per game)...Burg Offense is Consistent (averages scoring 38.5 points per game)...

My Regional Final Prediction Burg 35- Coschocton 10.

GO BURG!

That would be horrible when you have a high class stadium in Logan that is exactly half way for both teams.

Athens field itself is nice, but parking is a nightmare and it seems they forgot to finish the walkway and under side of the home side by the restrooms
