Bama didn't play near as well as they did against Florida. Really feel bad for McCoy. He said his arm didn't hurt, it is just dead numb. He could barely speak. 24-21 had everyone's attention, made it exciting. Good story for Mark Ingram. Trent Richardson is only a freshman, he and Ingram will be a dynamic duo next year. Both ran for 100+ yds. and 2 TD's each tonite.

How do you figure they left no doubt? Do you mean they are a better team with McCoy...(stating the obvious) or did you mean they were better than Bama with him? (No Way!)

Texas would lose 9 out of 10 times even with McCoy. Bama didn't even have a great game tonight.

I think it was obvious for every college football fan that McCoy would have shredded Bama if he didn't get hurt. Bama didn't score until the final couple of minutes(one cheap) and they let a freshman qb bring Texas back into it. If you take away the pick six before the half then the kid did it anyway. I HATE both schools but with McCoy Texas is the better team. Bama got this one giftwrapped.

This college fan witnessed Bama....which didn't play a great game, beat Texas and coulda beat them worse or shoulda.

Come on now Hoggy... besides having better or equal stats such as 1st downs, 3rd down conversions(much better), yards and some others the game was lost by Texas because of rookie mistakes that McCoy wouldn't have made. three turnovers by the kid cost 3 touchdowns. The kid had Texas in it at 21-24 so it is hard for me to believe that McCoy wouldn't have a had a big day against Bama's secondary. You probably could have erased the 3 turnovers for scores and added a couple more scores for Texas. Give Bama the win but with a HUGE footnote.

Alabama had a totally different game plan for McCoy. PLus, do you not think they probably would have played harder if McCoy was in there?? I like to think so. Just stop with the excuses

With McCoy, Texas would have won. However, he didn't play and they didn't win so Bama is now #1.
