After going 5-5 in Titusville Fl the Bears open play back home with 2 games with a strong Kentucky Christian Univ team at 3pm on Thursday , followed by a twin DH on Fr-Sat with Cumberlands Univ . Fri starts at 2pm , Sat games start at 1pm.

The realistic speed numbers are just like softball24-7 mentioned , most are 48-50 on the average , with a few kids hitting 54 or maybe 55 on occasion , but not staying there consistently . But very few are actually that number . 90% of the throwers I've seen at the NAIA level are between 57 and 60 ....

A couple other diaper dandies .. kid from Coal Grove , soph , Tall , dark haired girl came to our camp this spring . Can sling it ! And a freshman at Leesburg Fairfield . watch out for her . K Hall. Both around 60 at game speed . Indoors.

Some truly dont want to go a large school , some don't realize how good they really are . Lots of reason. Grades is a biggie . Most do want to aim as high as possible , some dont. Its true whether you are aware of it or not .

I will add there are players of various sports that are D1 material that dont go D1 . Some choose not to market them selves as a D1 player , some just dont understand the recruiting process at all. I just wanted to make sure readers didnt think I was judging any particular player that was mentioned ...
