Definitely a great game. Portsmouth was on top early, Minford clawed their way back for the win. Hate to see a great season end for the Trojans. Good luck to the Falcons next week, tough team.

Good outlook on the upcoming season. OVC will definitely be up for grabs. Coal Grove always plays Portsmouth tough, Gallia has been a hard win for the Trojans, and the series with Fairland is very back and forth. That said, I believe all of those games are winnable. Ashcraft was really good for 4 innings, struggled to get out of the 5th. Had no business coming back out for the 6th yet Bell sent him out, very frustrating. Second time he’s done that this young season. Elly was awesome though. Reds know how to make it fun, it’s not easy but it’s fun.

The defense was abysmal yesterday, didn’t help the pitching at all. The bullpen got roughed up. Sims & Diaz the 2 vets you’re really counting on were both bad. Reds looked really good yesterday. Pitching was top notch, even Pagan who gave up a homer was actually throwing the ball well. Martini with the power was nice to see. Excited for the game tomorrow.
