Friday night will be about more than just football. As smurray mentioned. Waverly has had one terrible week. Losing two amazing people, way too soon. If the game does go on, everyone Friday night at Minford and surrounding areas, please, say a prayer for the Waverly community. They need it.

Although it was in losing fashion, Waverly's Paul Underwood had a spectacular game. 9 catches, 198 yards and 3 TDs. Not to mention a stellar defensive effort as well. To make it all the better, it was all on his birthday. Congratulations and happy birthday, Paul!

Ohio all over Norfolk 34-0 at halftime without starting QB Tettleton. Back up Vick looks really good. 149 through the air with 3 TDs. Leading receiver for the Bobcats is Waverly's own Derek Roback with 1 catch for 46 yards.

FYI I am a REF.I do not believe the refs cost them the game.I just thought there were bad calls. I think they missed 4 free throws in 4th. Man, couldn't happen to a greater athlete with a bright future. I pray this kid goes through a speedy recovery and comes out of surgery with no complications on Monday morning.
