Re: 2009 Buckeye Prep Elite Showcase
I don't know many of kids from the peebles area. Aaron Heibel and Hunter Havens will be competing from Waverly in the 7th grade division.

Re: Fairfield Union vs Sheridan
Because Fairfield Union has not preformed well in the tournament the MSL is not a good league?
It seems to me that teams like Logan Elm, Canal Winchester, and Bloom Carroll have had fairly good performances in the tournament the last few years they are in the MSL

Re: SOC scores for boys
Congrats to the Notre Dame 7th grade team on winning the Eastern Tournament. Notre Dame has a very nice team and are extremely well coached. They move the ball well in the half court, get out and fill the lanes in transition, and play great defense. I am not sure the name of their coach but he reall...

Re: Who's the real Tigers? McClain vs. Waverly in Sectional dual
I believe for Waverly to win this game they really need to establish Victor and Harrison in the post early in the game. If Waverly can do this i believe van metre will go to the 2-3 match and kretzer will have a field day. I would be interested in knowing what Coach Robertson's record was against Co...

Re: Waverly @ Northwest 1/9
I have to agree with Bucki4life. The kids have to want to improve. Its not a knock on waverly basketballs but they are made up of a team of athletes not just basketball players. Looking around the southeast district the teams known for great shooting all have one thing in common they have players th...

Thanks tjfred. Hard to win with 24 turnovers, credit the Piketon defensive pressure.

I know Waverly had 17 turnovers in the first half. Does anyone know how many they had for the game?

Re: Logan Elm at Chillicothe 12/27
I just wanted to post one very big thing i took from this game. It was my first time seeing Brandon Amann play. I have read things on this and other boards questioning how much help he would be to this team and about him having a poor attitude. I left the Hat on Saturday very impressed with him. I d...

To answer your question Shaquille O'neal Michael Jordan Lew Alcindor George Mikan Joe Fulks To name a few i can recall that won an NBA championship while being the leagues scoring leader. I have ran a motion offense since i was in the 3rd grade i don't see any of that happening on the seventh grade ...

Re: SOC scores for boys
Ok midget i knew what you were referring to to begin with. Just thought i would go ahead and say it. Do i think one player is doing too much? I think one player is being forced into doing to much. As far as relatives need to learn the team concept. Obviously you think you know who i am. So to put it...

Re: SOC scores for boys
Crazymidgets, I am not too sure that the Waverly 7th grade not playing as a team has a whole lot to do with the kids or the player that i believe you may be talking about. The Waverly 7th grade has not ran one single offensive set this season. In the West game for instance the tigers were down 12 at...
