Looks like Nelsonville-York is off to a slow start already without even playing a single game yet. That's too bad. I'm looking for Meigs to be the top team in the Ohio and Trimble to be duking it out with Wahama in the Hocking. Should be an interesting year.

The renovations aren't coming for quite some time trust me. When was the last time anyone in a high position gave a hoot about the softball or baseball programs there?

i like it, because what if the kid that is the DH is the worst fielder but the best hitter its common sense to let him bat.

IMO Carl had one of the toughest brackets with 6 or 7 state placers the previous year and too come out and place as a freshman just says something that will come of the boy in his near and present future. Congrats Carl!

I am spreading a word of CAUTION! The Lady Buckeyes are up against the wall this year. Word has it that the establishment will do away with softball at N-Y unless they start raking in some wins. This makes them a very hungry team and won't be a push over this year. So just a word of caution.

Not only are these boys good wrestlers but also good students/people. I have not seen them once cause mischief and those are the kind of boys you would love on a team. They are the kind that have no backtalk its always "Yes sir" Congrats Buckeyes!
