Don' t blame the officals, you sound like Minford and West. Burg got beat because they weren't near as good as Hartley. This offense sucks in big games and bad weather tonight you had both and the offensive calls were as inept as usual .

I would rather have a SOC crown and not even make the playoffs at all. A chance of a SOC team winning a state championship in any given year are near zero. I venture a guess we will not see another one. A SOC crown is something you can showcase and reflect on as a great season.

The Burg will be ok in the first round , but just like the past seasons the team and coaching staff will choke like they have been doing in the big games the last few years. We are seeing the reincarnation of the Curt Clifford era at the Burg.

Take It from me the days of great Ironton football are in the past. Average from here on out.

The Burg has to score a lot of points because they certainly can't stop anyone from scoring.

Burg ranked 2nd in the state in Div 5 in the first AP football. Thats great for what's it worth.

I'm a Burg fan, but let me tell you CG is the real deal, If Valley beats CG I will give the SOC advantage to Valley. ( haven't seen Minford yet, they might be better than both )Didn't see a real weakness with CG, if the game had been at home I think they might have pulled off the win. Time will tell.

No they don't. 3 guys ran down the Burg player that broke thru the CG line on one play or two, also when CG broke the line they were gone.

I agree the Burg is not as good as the Lang era. Line is doing a good job of pass blocking but don't or more likely can't run block. I can't see them beating Minford or Jackson and have some doubts about Ports. Overall a little to slow.
