THOUGHTS AND PREDICTIONS? DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT SOUTHEASTERN.

From the teams i have seen i would rank them as follows.
1 lynchburg clay
2 lucasville valley
3 portsmouth
4 peebles
5 eastern pike
6 north adams
7 eastern brown
8 fayeteville
I have not seen minford and zane trace play but have heard they have good ballclubs.

PEEBLES 8TH GRADE BOYS ARE 6-0.WITH VICTORIES OVER FAIRFIELD,WEST UNION,FAYETVILLE,PAINT VALLEY,MANCHESTER AND EASTERN BROWN.THE 7TH AND 8TH GRADE BOYS ARE COMBINED THIS YEAR.

They are up good in most places.I found 300 or so Saturday and am going again this evening.

I cant see how you can say burg is more physical when the foul count was 24 to 6.I think #15 might have been taking the bus to Court Street when he Jordan-like tried to cup the ball and took 4 NBA steps twice in the last 3 minutes of the game especially in the last 15 seconds.That call has to be mad...

I have to disagree on the match-ups.I think the Burg struggles against dribble penetration and Peebles has 4 starters that can take it to hole.I do agree with you on the Stegman kid,he is a stud.With that being said i would lean more toward this being a match-up nightmare for the Burg.

Peebles will knock down their share of 3's.I know Mcbee and Webb can both shoot the 3.Mcbee made 2 or 3 three pointers early in the Valley game and didn't hardly shoot the ball the rest of the game.They will need to shoot well to have a chance.

I agree TribeManiac10.I think another key is if Ward guards Justice he likes to get up in your face.He guarded Yates in the last game and Yates went by him consistantly.Justice is dangerous when he can drive and dish.

Wheelersburg needs to keep the game low scoring.Stegman will have to have a big game scoring and on the boards.Ballard will have to shoot the ball well.Mcbee must stop penetration from Arey and slow down the break.I wonder if the Burg will try to play some zone? Peebles needs to make it a fast paced...

I watched the Lynchburg vs Peebles game the other night.I didn't see it as real physical game.I missed both Whiteoak games but heard they were very physical.I think your prediction will be wrong and the Devils win a close one.

I would have to strongly take the Peebles guards on this one.Way too much scoring and either one of them can drop 30-50 points on any giving night.Just my opinion!

What Time Is It?,
Portsmouth and Peebles would be a great regional matchup.I know they scrimmaged each other over the summer and had some pretty good battles.Portsmouth has better Bigs but Peebles has better guards.I think personally it would be a Barn Burner!

I would give the nod to Portsmouth.They have a pretty easy road to the regionals.Chesapeake has all the talent but will eventually have to deal with the winner out of the New Philadelphia bracket.Peebles has a chance but they will have to play better team ball and establish more of a inside game (th...

Peebles is playing really good ball right now.They are putting it all together at the right time to make a long tournament run.How many seniors does Peebles lose?How does next years team look?
