I don't mind the change of stance, but those new back door entrances are just too much.

Re: Portsmouth vs Chesapeake Regional semifinal
For the second year in a row, the Trojans force moose to drive home with a longer  face than normal. Congrats to the Panther seniors on a great 4 years. The first final four, followed with an elite eight and a sweet sixteen this year. You have been a joy to watch. Portsmouth found out early w...

Fairland was the team that beat Spring Valley 63-61. Chesapeake did not play Spring Valley this year. Max Preps got it wrong.

Re: Best Game by a Player this Year
Zac against Upper Room at Chesapeake had the best overall performance that I have seen this year. In addition to great stats, Zac handled most of the ball handling responsibilites and played with high intensity throughout the contest. Since Ironton was "Panthers" on the scoreboard, that ju...

Re: 5 Starters averaging Double Figures
McMasters, Kennedy, Hintz, Thompson and Noble were all averaging in double figures after 18 games this season for Chesapeake. The Panthers were scoring 75 per game up until that time. Don't have the final stats, but there is a good chance that all 5 starters are still averaging in double figures.

Citgo in Chesapeake has posted a seeding bracket this week with over 200 Chesapeake fans filling in the seeds. Results and comments as follows: 1 - Ironton. The Tigers played the toughest schedule by far. Ironton outplayed Upper Room Christian this weekend and should have pulled off the major upset ...

Sam and the gang did not have an unbeaten season although they had a great chance at 20-0 but were beaten at River Valley on a night when the bucket was closed. One of the better teams that Sam guided lost at regionals by a bucket to that great North Adams team that went on to state. The game at Roc...

Re: Southeast District Tier Rankings
Jimmy, I'll agree with you 100% on that. A .500 team with a challenging schedule can definitely be much more dangerous than a team with a sparkling record against weak competition. It happens all-to-often in tourney play where teams with outstanding records are ousted in the first round by teams at...
